Tim is the founder and CEO of MacKay & Agents. He employs a thorough understanding of the business and recruitment needs of law firms to place high-level candidates at the partner, counsel and associate levels. He also handles bespoke in-house attorney placements. Tim knows the value of an expert recruiter and leverages a nationwide network to cultivate the best opportunities for attorney candidates. Prior to founding MacKay & Agents, he practiced law as a corporate associate at an AmLaw 50 firm in New York. He received his J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis. Tim lives in New York City.

Michael is the President and Head of Attorney Recruiting of MacKay & Agents. Michael leverages the experience he gained at an international recruiting company and as a corporate lawyer to guide attorneys through the lateral process. He has placed associates and partners at BigLaw firms, boutique firms, lifestyle focused medium sized firms and everything in between. Prior to joining MacKay & Agents, Michael was a senior legal recruiter at LHH and worked as an associate in Sidley Austin’s Capital Markets group. He received his J.D. from Boston College Law School and lives in Washington, DC.

Agustín is an Executive Legal Recruiter at MacKay & Agents, where he specializes in facilitating attorneys' lateral moves. A former Co-Lead of Recruitment at a large firm in California, he has extensive knowledge of and experience with all phases of the attorney recruiting process. He has worked closely with attorneys at all seniority levels across a broad spectrum of practice areas. In addition, he has spearheaded paralegal and law firm staff searches for both large and midsized firms. Agustín was born and raised in Milwaukee, where he received his Bachelor's in Business Administration from Marquette University. He currently resides in Los Angeles.

Irene is an Executive Legal Recruiter at MacKay & Agents, where she specializes in facilitating attorneys' lateral moves, with an emphasis on the New York and New Jersey markets. A former associate at a leading firm in New Jersey, Irene has a deep understanding of both the attorney experience and law firms' own hiring processes and considerations. Having practiced in various sectors of the law, Irene knows the value of the right fit for a particular role, and uses her knowledge and experience to ensure long-term success for both law firms and candidates. Irene received her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law and lives in New Jersey.

Amar is an Executive Legal Recruiter at MacKay & Agents, where she specializes in facilitating attorneys’ lateral moves. Having navigated her own career transition from public interest to private practice, she has an understanding of the job search experience from an attorney’s perspective. Amar has experience practicing various types of law including personal injury, employment, general liability, construction defect and criminal defense. As a public defender, she did over 30 jury trials. She received her J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law in 2019 and lives in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Shannon is an Executive Legal Recruiter at MacKay & Agents, where she specializes in facilitating attorneys' lateral moves. As a former Supervising Attorney at a medium sized law firm, she has extensive knowledge and experience with all phases of the attorney recruiting process. As a first generation lawyer, she is passionate about helping others navigate, what can sometimes feel like, an intimidating process. She received her Juris Doctor from Drexel University's Thomas R. Kline School of Law in Philadelphia, PA. Shannon currently lives in Delaware County, PA.

A former BigLaw associate, she has extensive knowledge and experience with all phases of the attorney recruiting process. Sandra brings a practical, business-minded approach to recruiting, informed by her background in transactional law and client-focused advisory work. She received her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School and her B.A. in English from Michigan State University. Sandra lives in Michigan.
